   Welcome to the 2010-1011 school year! It is going to be an exciting year! We have lots of new students and will be making new friends. We will be learning lots of different subjects and be having fun while doing it. Excellent communication betweeen parent and teacher are very important to me.    Dear Parents,

   Thank you for continuing to work with your child on completing their homework. Please let me know if your child is having difficulty with the homework. This week we will review high frequency words and numbers. Next week we will start working in our Houghton Mifflin Curriculum. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

   Monday-Write each word 3x’s each

   Tuesday-Put the appropriate word in the sentence.

   Wednesday-Put your words in ABC order.

   Thursday-Practice Test

   Each day they will also write their numbers to at least 20. Please have them say the number out loud as they are writing or tracing the number.
